Kettlebells (Intermediate/Advanced)

The Kettlebell is the most effective tool for weight loss, strength gains and building lean mass. One learns functional movements, strength techniques and breath control. Competition Kettlebells are used. You will learn how to perform and perfect the Swing, which is similar to uphill cross-country skiing in terms of caloric expenditure and both muscular and cardiovascular endurance. This class also involves teaching and performing competition drills such as Clean, Press, Jerk and Snatch. The practice of Kettlebells focuses on work load, endurance and learning how to accelerate and decelerate load. In short, it builds a throwers body that is lean, athletic, strong and organic. The exercise sequence in this class will vary with each instructor.
